The Objective
Haystack sought a UX/UI designer to accelerate their design roadmap, specifically to enhance the platform’s ability to track project progress. The task was to create a solution that would allow software engineering managers and project managers to measure the completion of project milestones quickly and efficiently. The design needed to communicate when timelines were slipping, empowering teams to take action before deadlines were missed.

The Challenge
The challenge was designing a system that could display various modes of completion for project milestones, turning complex progress data into an easily understandable visual format. This was critical for project managers and engineers to gauge progress in real-time and recognize when timelines were falling behind. Additionally, the design had to work across over 20 interconnected pages, ensuring consistency and clarity in the platform's complex structure.

The Solution
SaaS Beautiful worked closely with Haystack's team to design a streamlined, user-friendly solution for tracking project milestones. We:

• Designed interactive elements using Figma that allowed users to quickly assess milestone completion statuses.
• Created a visual progress tracking system that displayed different stages of project milestones, helping users identify delays at a glance.
• Focused on intuitive UI elements that made it easy for software engineers and project managers to understand project status without needing to dig through layers of data.
• Worked in close collaboration with developers to ensure the design was seamlessly integrated into Haystack's existing platform, with minimal disruption to the user experience.
• Followed and contributed to the style guide to ensure consistent visual language across the platform.
